Communications Coordinator
Full-time
The Communications Coordinator is a full-time position for an exceptional writer, storyteller and content producer who can bring CARA’s work into public view. This hands-on role follows the life of CARA’s programs closely, from planning to opening, event, or publication. The Communications Coordinator documents and translates the work into clear, compelling communications to build audiences on all channels, support press visibility, and strengthen CARA’s institutional presence. The Communications Coordinator reports to the Executive & Artistic Director.
We are looking for a candidate with 4+ years of experience in communications (editorial, digital media, publishing, arts and cultural organizations, or non-profits) and strong writing and editing skills working across web, social media, press, and institutional communications.
Full-time, exempt, $68,000 with benefits. On-site in our West Village building, Monday through Friday, with evening and weekend shifts during programs.
