Tina Girouard: SIGN-IN Walkthrough with Manuela Moscoso
We invite you to gather with us on Friday, January 10 at 5pm for a toast to Tina Girouard! Executive and Artistic Director Manuela Moscoso will lead a final exhibition walkthrough. All are welcome.
Tina Girouard: SIGN-IN is the first comprehensive retrospective devoted to the Louisiana-born artist Tina Girouard (1946–2020) in New York City, presented at CARA in partnership with Rivers Institute for Contemporary Art & Thought. SIGN-IN gathers film, performance, drawing, sequin, textile, and installation, all of which trace Girouard’s practice and legacy across genres and geographies. Learn more here.

We ask that visitors stay home if feeling sick, or have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days. Testing before joining us at CARA if feeling symptomatic is strongly recommended. Masks will be available for free.
The closest wheelchair accessible subway is 14th St/8th Avenue station. The entry to CARA is ADA-compliant and our bookstore and galleries are barrier free throughout, with all gender, wheelchair accessible restrooms. CARA has wheelchairs available for guest use.
